When I was a kid, someone told me that if you sing a perfect high C, the sound will shatter crystal.
I was absolutely blown away by that. The idea that a sound—just sound—could physically alter the material world? It felt like magic. Like some kind of superpower.
I pictured an opera singer in a sequined dress standing in front of a champagne flute, holding a note so pure, so powerful, that the glass couldn’t help but splinter under its vibration. It was theatrical. Mesmerizing.
But here’s the part that stuck with me, long after I stopped trying to hit high notes in my bedroom: It isn’t the volume that shatters the glass. It’s the resonance.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how truth works the same way. Reflecting on the moments in my life when something someone said cracked me open.
You know those moments? When someone’s words hit you right in the center of your being? Like they bypass your logical brain and travel straight into your bones?
Sometimes, it’s a question. Sometimes, it’s a truth you’ve been dancing around for years. Sometimes, it’s a reflection that leaves you breathless.
But however it lands, something shifts.
You feel it. Not as an idea, but as a vibration.
It reverberates inside you. What I’ve learned is that the frequency of truth shatters illusions.
And just like that high C, it starts making tiny cracks in the illusions you’ve been holding onto.
Illusions like: “I have to do it all on my own.” “If I slow down, everything will fall apart.” “This is just how life is—I should be grateful.” “I’m not allowed to want more.”
At first, you might push back. Argue. Defend the story you’ve been living. That’s normal. We all do it.
But if the truth is true—if it resonates—it doesn’t go away.
It echoes. Quietly. Persistently.
Until one day, a part of you that’s finally ready whispers, Okay.
And something inside you shatters—not in a painful way, but in a liberating one.
You see clearly. You exhale. You grieve the illusion. And you begin to live differently.
That’s the power of resonance. That’s the frequency of truth.
It doesn’t yell. It doesn’t bully. It doesn’t demand.
It sings—and it waits for you to be ready.
I’ve experienced this in my own life, again and again.
In a quiet kitchen, stirring sugar into my coffee, when someone I love told me I was playing small.
In a coaching session, when a client told me, “You said something offhand last time we met, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.”
In moments of stillness, when I’ve finally been able to hear my own knowing—and it changes everything.
This is the work I get to do in coaching. Not to fix or force, but to speak truths that resonate. That crack through noise and reach the part of you that remembers who you really are.
When the frequency hits—transformation begins.
If you’re feeling stuck inside a story that doesn’t quite feel like yours…
If you’re ready to hear the truth your soul already knows…
